Blue Berry Cafe opens restaurant in the former Golden Nugget space
Blue Berry Cafe, a staple of the Bellbrook area, will open the doors to their new restaurant in Kettering this week, located in the former Golden Nugget space.
Blue Berry Cafe opens new Kettering restaurant tomorrow, Feb 21
The Blue Berry Cafe, Bellbrook's beloved breakfast haven, will open the doors to its second location on Wednesday, February 21, 2024. The Kettering restaurant, located at 2932 South Dixie Drive is taking over the space the former Golden Nugget restaurant.
The Blue Berry Cafe is well known locally for its enormous pancakes and delicious homemade omelets.
"My family has co-owned and operated Dayton restaurants since 1975," said Kelley Andary and Ray Jean, owners of Blue Berry Cafe. "Our passion is bringing people together over great meals, creating a space where the community feels at home. We're excited to maintain our presence in Bellbrook while embarking on this new journey in Kettering."

According to a post on the restaurant facebook page, the restaurant has two phone lines:
- Call 937-723-7917 to ask general questions, 30m call ahead seating, or place a reservation for groups of 7 to 12 people
- Call 937-723-7919 for take out orders
The restaurant will open on Wednesday from 7am-2pm. The post cautioned diners that they may face longer wait times over the next week or two, and to "walk into the doors of our beautiful new Cafe with an empty belly and a lot of grace"

Successful trial run: A post on the restaurant's social media page last week read "We had an amazing Trial Run on Saturday. It felt so great to be serving and cooking again!".
