2nd Monday Authors - Woodbourne Library

Stop by on the 2nd Monday of each month and meet local authors in the Library lobby. Books will be available to purchase.

Appearing from 1-3 PM in the Woodbourne Library lobby:
  • Chip Tudor from Dayton has been a professional freelance copywriter and pastor for over 20 years. Along with his featured novel, he's published four other nonfiction, faith-based books on Amazon and humorous drama on his website. His featured book is Soul Pursuit: A Jack Sterling Detective Novel, c2019. An honorably discharged Navy SEAL, Jack Sterling moves to Dayton to emotionally support his recently divorced mother. Rather than find her crushed as he expected, she's surprisingly energized by a new, religious faith. Hired as a bounty hunter, Jack begins tracking down a war veteran fugitive that humped bail, while encountering his own spiritual crisis. There's action, humor, and personal reflection as Jack, in a dual pursuit, searches to find a brother in arms and his own soul.
  • Jim Weller is a lifelong resident of Dayton and local bald eagle enthusiast. He first became fascinated with these majestic birds at around 5 years of age. In early 2018 a second pair of bald eagles began nesting in Carillon Historical Park and Jim began serving as the park's eagle expert. His featured book is Orv and Willa Find a Home, c2019. The book recounts the story of the Carillon eagles' arrival in Dayton. More information can be found online at eastwoodeaglewatchers.wordpress.com
