An Artful Celebration
Staley Mill Farm is commemorating 200 years of its American icon, the mill, with An Artful Celebration. Back in 1818 the newly erected Staley Grist Mill was a shining example of "modern" industry in the Northwest Territory. Built by three talented Staley brothers for commercial use, the mill ground grain for both flour and whiskey. The Staley Mill Farm also houses the Indian Creek Distillery. The sixth generation Staley family will open the mill up for visits to Ohio's oldest original grist mill this year during An Artful Celebration.
An Artful Love Affair exhibit will take place on September 15 thru October 14. This classic watercolor exhibit highlights local artist Roger Hass. All exhibits are open Fridays 12 am - 7 pm, Saturdays 12 pm - 7 pm, and Sundays 1 - 4 pm.
