Ceo and Key Executive Series
Retaining Knowledge for an Aging Workforce, September 19, 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
As the Boomer generation continues to exit the workforce, organizations large and small face the reality of trying to retain key business knowledge to maintain operational effectiveness. This issue is compounded by a tight labor market, providing ample opportunities for skilled talent to look elsewhere for work satisfaction. In this session, we'll discuss a two-pronged approach to addressing the issue of knowledge retention: 1) creating a fulfilling environment that encourages tenured employees to stay, and 2) integrating knowledge transfer/documentation practices into key areas of business operations.
Incorporating Data Analytics into Decision-Making, November 28, 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
There is a myriad of information available at our fingertips through business information systems to not only assist in making business decisions, but to also help monitor whether decisions resulted in the desired outcomes. In this session, we'll review customer service and operational performance metrics tracked by leading businesses as well as discuss how to implement these measures in your own organizations.
