I had the good fortune to spend some time with Paul Gregg, General Manager of The Greene 14 + IMAX® this week. Paul started his movie career in the Dayton area in 1997 as a concession attendant. Leading by example earned him a promotion into customer service where he developed high standards for guest service. Paul was swiftly moved into management, has managed many local theaters, and took the helm at The Greene +14 IMAX® last year.

You’ll find the only all digital IMAX theater in the Dayton area here. That combined with stadium seating, unobstructed viewing utilizing 18-inch risers, and a remarkable 48 inches between rows for maximum legroom and ease of motion ensure a stellar entertainment experience.

Paul and his staff are attentive and helpful from the moment you arrive. Their goal is to make our experience wonderful every time. The team is committed to achieving that goal and is on target to exceed their attendance goals this year, having hosted as many as 38,000 guests in one weekend!

I’ve never worked in a theater, so I had never considered the amount of planning and preparation involved in hosting movie premiers where up to 3,000 guests are expected to arrive near the same time. From coordinating staff schedules to staggering movie start times and traffic patterns, they’ve thought of it all.

In addition to the concession stands, the Crave Restaurant provides movie goers the opportunity to dine on site along with a full service bar (left). Adults are welcome to take their beverage of choice into the theaters. As a family establishment, Crave limits the number of "adult" beverages per guest.
