Art Avenue 1st Friday - March Edition
Open to artists, art students, and the public – join critically acclaimed artist Mark Hanavan and the raptors of Hueston Woods Nature Center. Bring your drawing or painting materials and draw the live bird models: a red-tailed hawk and a great horned owl. (Birds will be present from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m.)
At 6:00 p.m. meet the February raffle winner and watch as Mark Hanavan starts a new picture with raffle winning model. And join us as the proceeds from the February raffle will be presented to head of the scholarship program at the Art Institute of Ohio, Cincinnati.
March raffle to benefit the Middletown Art Center – the 1st venue in Middletown to host a show for Christopher B. Walden, back in 1981. The winner will get the original bird sketch by world renowned wildlife artist Christopher B. Walden. Winner will be announced at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, April 3 in Art Avenue Custom Framing.
