The Everglades is one of the wildest and most remote places left on the planet! Now imagine paddling a kayak for 6 days there.
Join us to hear about Tom Helbig’s Everglade’s National Park six day kayaking adventure filled with dolphins, crocodiles, challenges, beautiful sunsets, rain, wind, tidal changes and more. He started in Flamingo, FL paddled up the coast on the Gulf of Mexico then paddled through Little Shark River through interior of park camping on chickees back to Flamingo, FL. One 70 mile memorable loop!!
Tom Helbig is the owner of Tomfoolery Outdoors and recently completed a 156 mile Great Miami River paddle from Indian Lake to the Ohio River to promote the Great Miami River Corridor.
We will also be hosting a craft beer share / tasting after the presentation. Bring a bottle or two your favorite craft beer to share with others.
10% of the evening’s sales being donated The Adaptive Adventure Sports Coalition’s (TAASC) Paddling Program.
FREE and open to all ages (Must be 21 to participate in beer tasting)
