The City of Kettering’s Department of Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Arts is pleased to announce an exciting new initiative for kids and families ready to help save the earth – America Recycles Day, a nation-wide celebration, kicking off in Kettering on Saturday, November 15! Featuring activities at both the Habitat Environmental Center and Rosewood Arts Centre, the program will give participants a chance to interact with professional artists and learn to create their own sustainable artwork from recycled materials.
November 15: Mission: Waste Not, 11 am – 2 pm at the Habitat Environmental Center
December 6: A Rosewood Holiday Open House, 11 am – 3 pm at Rosewood Arts Centre
