Dayton Navy Week: Navy Night at the Dayton Dragons
Navy Week is coming to Dayton June 13-19! As part of the festivities, the Dayton Dragons are hosting a special Navy Night at their June 15 home game. The evening will feature:
- Performance by Navy Band Northeast’s Ceremonial Band and history of Naval Baseball display in the plaza prior to start of the game (Starting at 6:00 pm)
- Ceremonial Band performing the National Anthem
- Rear Admiral John Haley throwing out the first pitch
- Color Guard by Sailors assigned to the USS Constitution, the oldest commissioned warship afloat in the world
Dayton Navy Week is an opportunity for community members to meet Sailors, learn about the missions they have underway around the world and see the Navy in action. The week will consist of a variety of events including free concerts, demonstrations, commemorative events, youth outreach, and participation in community service projects.
