Free to Breathe 5K Run/Walk and 1-Mile Walk
Hundreds of local residents will join in that mission by participating in the Dayton Free to Breathe 5K Run/Walk and 1-Mile Walk on Saturday, October 22 at the Fifth Third Field. Attendees can participate in a 5K run/walk and 1-mile walk, as well as a silent auction, a variety of kids activities and a meeting with GEM, the Dayton Dragons mascot. All proceeds from the event support Free to Breathe, a lung cancer research and advocacy organization dedicated to doubling lung cancer survival by 2022. Online registration ($25, or $15 for youth ages 12 and under) closes October 19. Mail-in registration ($28, or $18 for youth ages 12 and under) closes October 17. You can also register event day for $30 (or $20 for youth ages 12 and under).
