In honor of Black History Month, Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park, in partnership with the National Aviation Heritage Alliance, proudly presents a listening session - A Reflection of Black Perseverance and Resiliency in America: Crucial Conversations to Inspire Hope and Healing in a Fractured Nation. This enriching panel discussion sets in motion a two-year long celebration honoring esteemed African American poet, author, and novelist, Paul Laurence Dunbar.
Our esteemed list of panelists are: Dexter Armstrong, park ranger at Brown v. Board of Education National Historic Site, Karen Brame, founder of BLACKListed CULTURE, John Haskins, Jr., Ph.D., senior engineer for Microsoft, Subria Spencer, National Park Service deputy liaison and communication specialist, Desiree Tims, president and CEO of Innovation Ohio, and Robin White, superintendent of Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site.
