Stargazing - To the Moon

Come see a view of the Moon that is the equivalent of being over halfway there using local amateur astronomers’ telescopes! There will be a large display inside the park district headquarters showing the early history of space exploration along with a 4-foot-tall Saturn V rocket model, which will make an excellent photography opportunity for your kids (and adults)! The telescope/astronomy portion of this event will be contingent on cloud cover but the display will be available for viewing rain or shine.
