Springboro Area Historical Society - Ice Cream Social

Join the Springboro Area Historical Society for a good old fashioned Ice Cream Social complete with all the toppings!  This year is special as we celebrate our 30th anniversary.  Open to the public, this family friendly annual event will be held at the Null House on Sunday, August 20 from 2 to 4 pm.  The Willow Creek Band will be on hand to serenade us as we indulge in cake and ice cream sundays with all the toppings!  Kids will play games of a bygone era. Most notably, the event will feature tours of the Null House, the oldest standing in-place structure in Warren County.  Built in 1798 by Christian Null, this authentic house takes you back in time to that of our area’s earliest pioneers.  As a documented safe house on the Underground Rail Road, you'll also see the cellar which hid many enslaved individuals on their flight to freedom. The Null House is located on Heatherwoode Golf Course at near 536 Heatherwoode Circle, Springboro.  Admission is free.
