ABOUT THE PLAY:
Amber is an accomplished, young African-American woman that has failed to find success in relationships and has very little value in family connections. She has dealt with public scandals and rumors that have caused her to exclusively focus on her outstanding career. After being sought out by the noteworthy celebrity Christian Counselor, Dr. Blackwell, for a reality television segment, Amber agrees to publicly discuss and process through the affects that being 'daddyless' has had on her life. During one counseling session Amber recalls various traumatic events, experiences some life-changing breakthroughs and, ultimately, receives the closure that she has needed since she was a little girl.
