Food in Literature Day Camp
Learn the basics of cooking with Once Upon a Thyme Instructors in a five-day series from June 25th-29th from 9:15-11:45am.
Each day will focus on on a set of stories and the food inspirations behind them. We’ll read the story (in some cases, only part of the story due to time), prepare the dishes, and eat the creations. This is a hands on class and kids will be cooking with supervision.
Monday
Books featured: Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, The Princess and the Pizza

Tuesday
Books Featured: Alice in Wonderland, James and the Giant Peach
Menu: Tea Party, Fruit Smoothies
Wednesday
Books Featured: Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, Charlotte’s Web
Menu: Spaghetti and Meatballs, Spider Cupcakes
Thursday
Books Featured: How to Eat Fried Worms, Frog and Toad are Friends
Menu: Fruity Frogs, Dirt pudding, “Worm” Sandwiches
Friday
Books Featured: Harry Potter Series
Menu: Harry’s 11th Birthday Cake, Butter beer, Cheese and Pretzel Broomsticks, pumpkin pasties
We will start promptly at 9:15, so please arrive on time. Waivers must be signed by parents/guardians in advance. We will email you the event waiver once you purchase your ticket. Class size is limited to 8 students, so purchase your ticket today!
