New Horizons wins Super Training Provider Award in Ohio

New Horizons Computer Learning Centers won the “SuperTrainingProvider” award by the Southwest Ohio Region Workforce Investment Board (SWORWIB), a 501c3 Ohio chartered nonprofit organization.

For years, New Horizons has proudly partnered with SWORWIB to provide six IT scholarship opportunities annually to qualifying residents of Hamilton County seeking training and a career change or new job.

“We are honored to receive such a prestigious award from our partners at Southwest Ohio Regional Workforce Investment Board,” states Dave Koker, director of admissions at New Horizons. “The training and education provided to the community is a direct result of our close collaboration with Sherry Kelly-Marshall and the staff at the SWORWIB. As our partnership progresses, we look forward to continuing to provide education services to the people of southwestern Ohio.”

The morning awards ceremony took place Thursday, February 9, at the OhioMeansJobs Center in Cincinnati, OH.
