TCN Behavioral Health was established in 1990 serving the community of Greene County, Ohio. Since then, TCN has grown to be the area’s flagship behavioral health agency with physical locations in 5 Ohio counties -Champaign, Greene, Logan, Miami, and Montgomery- providing services to over 8000 individuals across the state, annually.

+ 988 & Crisis

TCN Behavioral Health Crisis Services offer immediate access in situations that are emergent in nature and require immediate attention. Our 988 National Suicide and Crisis Lifeline and 24-Hour Crisis Hotline staff are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Walk-in crises are welcome at any TCN location during business hours. Crisis staff are also available to go into the community or to the location of the person needing services to provide crisis assessment and ongoing assistance.

TCN Community Support Services provide short- and long-term case management to individuals with severe and persistent mental health issues that may prevent them from maintaining independent functioning without assistance. Our case management professionals assist in meeting needs of individuals in areas daily living such as employment, recreation, socialization, housing, and finance to support healthy and productive living.

+ Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault

TCN is committed to helping individuals in Domestic Violence and/or Sexual Assault situations obtain safety and link with resources to help build secure and self-sufficient lives in the community. Our 24-hour domestic violence/sexual assault shelter provides housing for survivors and their children and is open to all victims of domestic violence and sexual assault including children. We also partner with a local agency to assist in housing pets.

+ Residential Recovery

TCN’s residential recovery services are Ohio Recovery Housing certified and offer 24-hour care allowing individuals to focus solely on recovery and coping skills in sobriety. We offer programming that is individualized to each client’s needs in areas not limited to coping skills development, opioid dependence treatment, relapse prevention education, family education, therapeutic recreational outings, basic life skills education, parenting classes, access to GED education classes, and vocational employment support. Individuals are supported and encouraged to become a part of the local recovery community through attendance at 12-step meetings.

During a stay with TCN’s Residential Recovery. Residents can expect balanced meals to support their overall well-being and nutrition. TCN partners with local farmers to provide the freshest cuts of beef and locally grown vegetables. To support education and vocational employment skills, TCN offers access to computers which can be self-guided or supported by our Vocational Specialist to access basic online training and education courses, resume building, job searches, and much more.


Computer Lab

  • To support treatment and recovery, TCN offers Computer Lab hours for all active clients. All computers are fully equipped with the Microsoft suite and internet access including specialized trainings on how to use these functions. During lab hours, our dedicated Vocational specialist is available to support the needs of the client in areas not limited to resume building, job searches, online trainings, and resource discovery. Nutrition

  • During a stay at TCN, our clients enjoy nutritious meals crafted with the finest locally sourced vegetables and fresh beef. TCN collaborates with local farmers, butchers, and nutritionists to curate the weekly menus for our residential programs. Our staff are certified in ServeSafe practices, ensuring safe food handling and upholding the highest standards of food safety. Throughout a stay, our onsite staff work closely with clients to accommodate any special dietary needs, allowing them to focus on their recovery with the assurance of enjoying meals they enjoy.
    Christopher House provides a hearty hot breakfast daily, featuring eggs, meats, fresh fruits, oatmeal, cereal, and beverages to kickstart the day. Clients are also encouraged to participate in planning weekend meals and are welcome to share and prepare their favorite recipes if they wish. Nutrition plays a vital role in the recovery process. Substance use can impact metabolism, organ function, and mental well-being, affecting the body's ability to absorb, digest, and utilize nutrients effectively. This can lead to vitamin deficiencies and overall poor nutrition. Providing fresh, healthy meals is just one of the ways TCN supports our clients on their journey to recovery.

TCN offers a continuum of care that focuses on recovery and coping skills in sobriety. Our Harm Reduction Philosophy supports our individual treatment planning that allows individuals to provide input on preferences, history, relationships, beliefs, and current needs to develop goals that are meaningful to the individual. Our counselor’s partner in the recovery process, providing expert feedback and supporting each individual’s goals and success. Throughout treatment and individual may access multiple levels of care such as Standard Outpatient Level 1 (SOP 1), Standard Outpatient Level 2 (SOP II), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), Aftercare/Relapse Prevention, Dual Diagnosis Recovery (DDR), Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT).

Sun Clinic Mission: Empowering the client to make decisions about their health care; with in-person and virtual options to reduce barriers to treatment with a multi-disciplinary team of providers.

TCN offers 2 weekly SUN clinics intended to serve active adult clients, without a prior appointment, as their need arises. Our multi-disciplinary team of providers available includes nurses, psychiatrists, primary care physicians, substance use counselors, mental health therapists, and case managers. Individuals can be seen both in person and via telehealth during clinic hours.

+ Walk In Clinic

TCN’s Walk-In Clinic (WIC) is available 6 days a week with options for both in person and telehealth. Our WIC provides quick access to assessment services and is the first step in individualized treatment planning. During WIC, in addition to working with our highly qualified clinical staff, individuals will meet with our billing specialists who will help navigate the understanding of insurance benefits and coverage and assist in setting up indigent funding and/or payment plans for eligible individuals. As a part of our commitment to accessibility, TCN does not discriminate due to inability to pay for services and our billing specialist are available to help navigate any financial circumstance. TCN also offers scheduled appointment throughout the week for those who unable to participate in our WIC by calling our call center at 937.376.8781.
