LEGACY - Hope for Tomorrow is a benefit concert for The Marriage School. An evening of live classical music to celebrate the LEGACY by which our parents, grandparents and many others have passed down to us and the LEGACY we seek to build into future generations. This is our hope for tomorrow.

The evening will also include stories from couples who have seen their marriage transformed. A light reception will follow the concert. All proceeds from the event will benefit The Marriage School, Inc., a 501 (c)(3) Christian non-profit that offers proven, practical educational programs to help couples grow towards healthier and stronger marriages.

FEATURING
LEGACY - Hope for Tomorrow is a benefit concert for The Marriage School featuring Swiss pianist Daniel Sachs and American soprano Rachel (Tucker) Sachs; with guest violinist, Dr. Christopher Jero. Daniel has performed extensively in Europe and the United States as a soloist and collaborative pianist. Rachel began her professional career as
a semi-finalist in the 1999 Metropolitan Opera Council Awards. Through the support of the American Berlin Opera Foundation, Rachel spent her first season as a soprano soloist at the Deutsche Opera Berlin. Daniel and Rachel performed together as an art song duo in the United States and Germany.

After seeing their own marriage transformed through The Third Option program offered at The Marriage School, they began investing in other couples and, in 2015, became the executive directors of The Marriage School. Each year they share their musical talents to raise funds in order to offer hope to other couples and bring healing so that couples will pass down their own LEGACY of love to the next generation.

Christopher Jero began studying the violin at age 9 because he wanted to be a bluegrass fiddler. His musical tastes rapidly expanded as he discovered a love for classical music. Jero eventually studied music at the University of Northern Iowa. While a student he performed the Barber Violin Concerto with the Fort Dodge Symphony Orchestra as winner of the FDS Young Artists Competition. At about the same time Jero discovered a love for Rebecca Wenzel, who graciously agreed to become Rebecca Jero.
He took his wife Rebecca from the cornfields to the big city in order to complete a professional internship at the Juilliard School. While pursuing a music career in New York, Jero discovered his third love – a love for the Bible. Jero obtained a Ph.D. in Bible and Semitic Languages and now teaches Bible, Greek, and Hebrew at Mars Hill Academy (Mason, OH) and online at Columbia International University (Columbia, SC). Jero says that being a musician has impacted the way he reads the Bible. It has taught him a sensitivity to the subtle artistry of Scripture, by which artistry the Bible not only communicates truth but also draws the reader to discover a love for God.
