About this tournament
Welcome to the 1st annual 3 Legged Dog!
A best shot TRIPLES (teams of 3) tourney to benefit Sophie’s Companions For Veterans.
A Non-Profit 501(c)3 that rescues dogs from shelters and trains them to serve Vets with disabilities.
Where: The newly redesigned Arthur O. Fisher Park featuring Dave Ludington’s 2022 Hazy Shade Open layout (but less out of bounds)
Particulars: One round Best Shot Triples
9:00am check in opens
9:40am players meeting
10:00am tee off
Entry is $30 per person
$3 for 3 Mulligans per person
$3 for CTP/longest putt/birdie bounty
(3 prizes on each hole)
As of right now each division will be playing for same CTP/Longest Putt/ Birdie Bounty. To make it as fair as possible, some of the larger holes will be longest putt or a Birdy Bounty hole. There will also be some other interesting CTP holes such as a roller hole. Will explain more at players meeting!
The mega CTP for 3 Bushnell range finders will be held on temp hole 17 (275 feet) included in the $3 CTP/Long Putt entry!
*Mulligans may not be used on the Mega CTP hole! (Hole 17)
Juniors will throw from approximately 250 feet for the mega CTP
$3 Ace fund. 50% will be donated. 100% donated if no aces are hit.
Divisions: GOOD~GOODER~GOODEST~Women-Juniors
On some holes juniors will have a shorter pad!
All other divisions will play same pads.
SIGN UP FOR THE DIVISION THAT YOUR HIGHEST RATED PLAYER WOULD FALL UNDER.
GOOD: Everyone is 899 rated or less
GOODER: 900-950 rated
GOODEST: 950+
Payout: 40% of entry fee will be used for payout. GOOD, GOODER, Womens, & Jrs. will receive Hazy Shade Bucks! Winners will be able to shop in store or online. GOODEST division will be cash payout via PayPal.
We will run a raffle for some amazing gifts and do a 50/50 drawing! Raffle tickets will be $1 each or 6 for $5
Hole sponsorships are available for $100 Please reach out to us so we can get a business image or logo to use by 8/19/22
We are expecting 4 Kingz Cuisine, a Veteran owned and operated food truck to fill your belly’s after the round!!!
Note: you can register individually and eventually find partners or just show up and we will build you a team.
