Art & Earth Day
April 27, 2024

 

Celebrate Earth Day and International Sculpture Day with Pyramid Hill as we host a day focused on creativity and conservation. 

 

Tour of Student Works

12PM – 1PM throughout the park

Hear from students from University of Cincinnati’s DAAP program and the Art Academy of Cincinnati about their new outdoor sculpture works.

 

Possum Scavenger Hunt

12PM – 5PM at the Pavilion

Join in on a student-created scavenger hunt featuring artful renditions of these charismatic creatures!

 

Adult Workshop: Container Gardening with Native Plants

1PM – 2:30PM at the Amphitheater

Learn how to grow native plants, even in small spaces, in this workshop led by Casey Sumner of Sustainable Sights Landscaping. Get hands-on experience with container planting as you discover common native garden plants and their benefits to bees, birds, and beyond. Participants will take home a few native plants to get their own gardens started! Registration is required; includes Park admission.

 

Panel Discussion: Art and Sustainability

3PM – 4PM at the Gallery Museum

How can art influence sustainability, and how can sustainability influence art? Hear from local sculptor Roscoe Wilson, painter Devan Horton, and fiber artist Amber Ostaszewski about the roles that nature and environmental conservation play in their work. Discussion is included with general Park admission.

Art Fair
September 28 & 29, 2024

Our annual weekend fair is the perfect way to say goodbye to summer and welcome fall. Local artists set up shop along our main Gallery Loop, family activities fill the Pavilion and lawns, and the community gathers for live performances.


The application to be a vendor at Art Fair is now open! Artists’ booths are set amongst the monumental sculptures that dot our gorgeous grounds. This event also features live music, family-friendly activities, food trucks, and drinks. Art Fair has over 1,500 people visit annually and is a favorite event of the greater Cincinnati area.

Pyramid Hill Lights
November 15, 2024 through January 5, 2025

No holiday season is complete without a visit to the Pyramid Hill Light show. Our unique art and nature filled route is lit up by installations by local artists and over one million lights. The whole family is invited to this drive through holiday experience.

Founder's Day Weekend

Enjoy free Park admission all weekend in honor of the Pyramid Hill's founder, Harry T. Wilks, and all of our supporters.

Meet and Mingle | 10AM –11AM

Meet new Executive Director, enjoy coffee and snacks, and explore the ancient sculpture collection at the Pyramid House.

Ancient Sculpture Tour | 11AM – 11:45AM & 1PM – 1:45PM

Join Dr. Steven Tuck of Miami University for a guided introduction to the ancient sculpture collection in Pyramid House

Outdoor Sculpture Tour | 12PM – 12:45PM

Staff-led walking tour and conversation about sculptures in the Pavilion area, including visitor favorites like In Pieces and Age of Stone
