Sinclair Jazz Concert with Rusty Burge
The Sinclair Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Bill Burns, will present an evening of Jazz on March 15 at 8 p.m. in Blair Hall featuring vocalist Elaina McCormick and vibraphonist Rusty Burge. Repertoire will include music from the Terry Gibbs Dream Band, Thelonious Monk, and the great American songbook. In addition, the ensemble will present a tribute to the late, great Dayton Bassist Bob Bowen. This world premiere is entitled You Meant Me and is arranged by Cincinnati composer/arranger Eric Lechliter. The concert is free and open to the public. Sinclair will live stream a small portion of the performance, but you’ll want to be there in person so you don’t miss a moment!
