DAYTON’S 1ST ANNUAL R&B MUSIC FESTIVAL is bringing the largest array of talent possible to downtown Dayton, Ohio!

Dayton's 1st Annual R&B Music Festival - postponed

Starring After 7, Raheem Devaughn, Angela Winbush, and KeKe Wyatt!

After 7 is an R&B legendary group whose members – Kevon Edmonds, Jason Edmonds and Keith Mitchell, from Indianapolis, Indiana – were brought to Virgin Records sight unseen by legendary hit making duo Antonio “LA” Reid and Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, Kevon’s younger brother. Grammy and American Music Award nominees, After 7, with their distinctive R&B sound, marked a 30 year musical milestone in 2019. Their self-titled debut album reached Platinum producing two #1 Billboard R&B singles, reaching top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, and were certified Gold: “Can’t Stop” and “Ready Or Not.” In true After 7 style, their newly released album, “Timeless,” which reunites the hit-making group with Babyface, has singles that have already placed in the top 10 on R&B charts.

Although some have compared his smooth vocals to the likes of music legends such as D’Angelo and Donny Hathaway, all while having the swag of a modern day Marvin Gaye, Raheem Devaughn has carved out his own place amongst R&B royalty as the “Love King” of the Neo-Soul universe. Raheem’s impressive career has been a living testimony to the benefits of dedication and commitment. Now entering his third decade at the top of the industry, Raheem’s raw talent has led his loyal fan base on an incredible musical journey ever since his soulful voice found the ears of the masses on his debut album, The Love Experience, in 2005.

Now, to this add legendary R&B singer Angela Winbush, who has continued to sound and look as beautiful as the day she started giving us her stellar R&B hits. And to this add the youthful vocal melodies of KeKe Wyatt, and you have what will prove to be a music festival for everyone to enjoy at the beautiful Mead Theater in downtown Dayton on Sunday March 29, 2020.
