Machine/Fabrication shop located in Franklin area looking for a versatile CNC/Manual Machinist with 3+ year’s experience.
- CNC machinist experience a must. Programming conversational control. Ability to write or modify "G & M" code.
- Setup, program and operate a Prototrak 3-Axis SMX Mill and SLX Lathe.
- Setup, program and operate a Haas VF4.
- Experience running manual lathes, horizontal & vertical mills and other standard machine shop equipment.
- Plans machining steps and process by studying job orders, drawings, materials and parameters.
- Must have understanding of how to complete a part/material set-ups.
- Maintains quality by self inspection and proper knowledge of metrology equipment.
- Be versatile with willingness to perform a wide variety of assignments including but not limited to customer equipment repair, trouble shooting and assembly work.
- Day shift opportunity at 40+ hours a week. Overtime opportunities on evenings/weekends.
- Must have a clean driving record and able to drive company vehicles.
- Ability to provide occasional off-shift support.
- Compensation based on experience.
