This event follows the cancellation of the “Grand Illumination” and downtown Santa House by Troy Main Street.
‘Tis the season! With the Christmas tree arriving in the public square this week, Mayor Robin Oda and City of Troy invite you to Troy’s “Holiday Lighting 2020.”
Please join us, along with several local musicians, on Friday, November 27th as we celebrate the arrival of the holiday season with Christmas music, Santa’s arrival via firetruck, and the annual lighting of the Christmas tree and levee lights. The Miami County Courthouse and Kettering Health Network’s Troy Hospital will also join in by turning on their lights at the same time.
Christmas music will begin around 6:15 - 6:30 p.m., with Santa’s planned arrival and the tree lighting to take place around 7:00 p.m.
Facial coverings and social distancing are encouraged. There will be commemorative masks available, if you should want one.
