The stylish Holiday Inn Dayton/Fairborn has become one of the area’s most popular locations for holiday brunches as of late. Whether it’s been Easter or Mother’s Day, brunch here has been a hot ticket, with all seatings typically selling out. Building off this momentum, Executive Chef Justin White is proud to now give dads their day in the sun too! On Father’s Day, June 17, Chef White hosts the inaugural “Beer, Bourbon & Brunch” at the Holiday Inn Dayton/Fairborn.
“We’re honoring dad with a special celebration highlighted by a few of his favorite things,” says Chef White. “Featuring bourbon-infused foods and drinks, local craft beer, live music and baseball, we have something for everyone – but especially for dads!” Two seatings, 12 pm and 2 pm, will take place outside on the patio under the sparkling sun while Scott Houchens livens up the scene with bluegrass. Local brews, Warped Wing and Lock 27, will be available on-site, and a pint of Yuengling will be included with every adult’s brunch. In addition to an array of hand-crafted bourbon cocktails utilizing locally-made Stillwrights, Chef White is planning to infuse bourbon and beer into many of his dishes.
Brunch selections include: bourbon glazed ribs, mac and beer cheese, assorted smoked sausages and brats cooked in beer, Lemon Shandy grilled bone-in chicken, bourbon baked beans, brisket sliders, salmon patties with corn bread stuffing and jalapenos, grilled corn on the cob with lime-parmesan butter, pecan bourbon pie, and much more.
To top it off, the Holiday Inn Dayton/Fairborn will raffle off Reds and Dragons tickets all day long. Every adult who attends the event will be entered into the drawing when they check in.
