HARTMAN HEIMSTYTTE FAMILY FARMS TO CELEBRATE 105 YEARS WITH  FALL FEST 2021

FEATURING NASHVILLE RECORDING ARTIST ERIC BURGETT

When Lori Hartman of Hartman Heimstytte Family Farms created a TikTok video about her family’s Ohio Century Farm using an up-and-coming Nashville recording artist’s song “Pass It On”, she never imagined that the artist would share it on their social media or that they would end up performing at her family’s farm.

When Hartman realized that Eric Burgett had dueted her TikTok video, she commented that she would love to have him come and perform at the farm. Hartman had been planning a small 105 year celebration for customers of their direct sales farm: where they sell eggs, meats, seasonal produce, and cottage food items directly to the public. A few weeks later, Burgett announced his “Town You Never Heard Of Truck Bed Tour” and Hartman Heimstytte Family Farms would be one of his stops—on October 16, 2021!

Fall Fest 2021 which will run from noon – 6 pm on Saturday the 16th, will include activities for young and old with carnival games, music, food, outside vendors selling their homemade and handcrafted items, and a 4 person team competition—“Barnyard Battle” where teams will compete in various activities to win the title of Barnyard Champs.

Regular ticket prices are $30 for anyone 11 and over and include lunch, activities, and the Eric Burgett concert. One youth ticket (10 and under) is included in the purchase of each regular ticket, additional youth tickets are $10 each. Tickets are available online at www.hartmanheismtytte.com.

According to Hartman, proceeds from this event will go directly to building the Farm to EVERY Fork Farm Market and Education center on the farm, located just east of the Village of Phillipsburg.

The farm store and education center will partner with other local farmers to offer year round local food products to the community; partner with local organizations who work directly with those in need to provide dietary specific foods to low income families; and, help educate the community on everything farm/food related-- from how to grow and raise your own food, how to prepare foods, how to preserve foods, to the connection between food and a person's physical and mental health.

MORE ABOUT ERIC BURGETT:

Country music artists have a long-standing love affair with the six-string guitar. However, a select few have chosen a different path. Following in the footsteps of legends like Charlie Rich, Ronnie Milsap & Phil Vassar, Eric Burgett has taken the 88 key torch and is blazing his own trail of standout country music. Burgett grew up on the family farm in Latham, IL performing on an old upright piano at his parents' tavern, The KORN KRIB, along with Sunday services at the Latham United Methodist Church.

Burgett made the move to Nashville to pursue his country music dreams and learn from some of the best songwriters and artists. In Fall 2017, Eric signed with Bow to Stern Management, headed by Grammy-nominated producer Matt McClure. Eric has entertained thousands of fans at his own shows as well as opening for Chris Stapleton, Rodney Atkins, Lee Brice, Charlie Worsham, Phil Vassar, Frankie Ballard, Jana Kramer, Craig Morgan, and Jim Brickman. In 2019, Hardee’s Corporation asked Burgett to be a social media brand ambassador and partnered with Burgett to make his first music video for his debut single “Swing Low, Sweet Old Cadillac”. The song peaked at #28 on the Music Row Country Breakout Chart.  Eric also released his debut EP titled ‘Pass It On‘ in August of 2019.

Originally written as his personal wedding song, Burgett’s latest radio single “Sometimes Late At Night,” peaked at #26 on the Music Row Country Breakout Chart in February of 2021.  Eric is on a roll releasing new music to his fans about every 6 weeks gaining over 2 Million streams across all platforms.   His latest digital streaming releases include “Blessed Beyond Believin'” released on July 30, 2021 and “The Way Back” released on September 10, 2021.
