2nd Monday Authors - Centerville Library

The series, which normally showcases two local authors a month, gives writers a chance to meet the public and develop interest in their works. Author books will be available to purchase or can be checked out from the library's collection. Note: The monthly series alternates between our Centerville and Woodbourne library locations.

Appearing at our Centerville Library on February 11 will be:
  • Jess Montgomery, (aka Sharon Short), author of the Kinship Historical Mysteries is from Montgomery County. Her featured book The Widows, c. 2019, is the debut novel in the series. Inspired by the true story of Maude Collins, Ohio's first female sheriff, and prominent labor and community organizer Mary Harris "Mother" Jones, The Widows  is a gripping mystery about two women whose lives collide when the man they both love is murdered. Montgomery is the sole author featured this month.
