36th adidas Warrior Soccer Classic Tournament Kicks Off in Dayton Memorial Day Weekend May 28-29, 2022

2022 Warrior Soccer Classic Tournament

The 35th adidas Warrior Soccer Classic Tournament will take place in Greater Dayton this Saturday, May 28 and Sunday, May 29. This prestigious youth soccer tournament is anticipated to bring over 10,000 people including players, coaches, referees, family members and spectators to town.

According to Jacquelyn Y. Powell, President & CEO of the Dayton Convention & Visitors Bureau “We are proud and pleased to welcome the adidas Warrior Soccer Tournament to our community this weekend.  Memorial Day weekend in Greater Dayton has become synonymous with this tournament.

Teams will compete at two sites; the Warrior Soccer Complex and Thomas Cloud Park.  Visitors to our community will fill area hotels, restaurants and retail outlets.

The dedicated commitment of the Warrior Soccer Club President Chris Bess, Tournament Director Steve Paddon, the Warrior Soccer Club, and the huge team of volunteers ‘behind the scenes’ have made this tournament the success it is.   As you see soccer players and families out and about in restaurants, hotels, and retail establishments this weekend, take a moment to thank them for coming to Dayton to play in the adidas Warrior Soccer Tournament.  And, if you’re looking for something to do in the fresh outdoors, go to one of the tournament sites to check-out the action.”

Chris Bess Warrior Soccer Club President states “We currently have 277 teams registered to play in this year’s tournament.  Teams are coming from Canada, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, West Virginia and Kentucky.  For game schedules and more information regarding the tournament log onto wsc.tourneycentral.com”

The Dayton/Montgomery County Convention & Visitors Bureau, an independent, non-profit organization funded by a county-wide customer hotel/motel bed tax, serves as an economic catalyst by marketing and promoting the community as THE Ohio destination and providing services for tourism events, conventions, leisure and business travel and advocacy for destination development.
