Sugar Valley Golf Club Veterans Day Celebration/Up From the Ashes Ceremony
Join Sugar Valley Golf Club on Sunday, November 10 for brunch and a special ceremony to honor and thank our brave veterans for their incredible service to the United States.
The centerpiece of the celebration will be a special ceremony at 11:00 AM to honor Jim Martin and Robert Six, two World War II vets, featuring a flag presentation and resolutions presented on behalf of US Rep. Mike Turner and Ohio Rep. Rick Perales. Additionally, all veterans will be commemorated by the Beavercreek VFW Honor Guard, local dignitaries, including former Ohio Governor Bob Taft, Rep. Rick Perales, and Marty Heide from Rep. Mike Turner's office, and the public during a short ceremony featuring the Pledge of Allegiance, National Anthem, playing of taps by bugler Al Howey (US Air Force, retired), and a rifle salute.
Along with the ceremony, veterans and their families, the public, and club members are invited to attend a special brunch from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Brunch tickets are available for $15.95 per person, and all veterans will get tickets for half price. During the brunch, all veterans will be honored with a rolling video presentation.

Additionally, all veterans are invited to SVGC on Monday, November 11, to enjoy a round of golf with FREE greens fees. Golfing reservations can be made by calling 937-372-4653.
