We're going back a bit for this months selection! In April we will be reading Like Water for Chocolateby Laura Esquivel
Tita de la Garza realizes that she can transfer her emotions into her food. When she's forced to stay home and care for her mother instead of marrying, she becomes a talented chef who can affect people's moods with her cooking. She attempts to keep this power a secret, but is finally forced to reveal it at the end of the novel.
