The view of lush green fairways & budding trees from Dayton Country Club’s banquet rooms will be stunning as guests arrive for a glamorous evening of dining, dancing & auctions.
What could sound more inviting than Spring Time on the Greens? The perfect answer is Opera Ball 2019 to be held on Saturday, April 27. The setting and view of lush green fairways and budding trees from Dayton Country Club’s banquet rooms will be stunning as guests arrive beginning at 6:30. Sip a fine wine or cocktail as you browse the enticing array of silent auction items. Nibble a little from the bountiful table of hors d’oeuvres. However save room for your feast of either beef tenderloin, baked salmon or a vegetarian plate.
Guild favorites are returning. The Bob Gray Orchestra will play their wide variety of dance and listening selections. The vocals that they add are always a special treat. Paul Helfrich will add his enthusiasm as emcee and live auctioneer. Special entertainment by a surprise opera soloist will surely be a highlight of the evening.
Co-chairs Lois Sutherland and Susan Daly encourage all Guild members to consider soliciting a donation or two for inclusion in the silent auction. This highlight of Opera Ball has always been a crowd favorite. Diversity of choices makes the auction memorable and lucrative. Join the fun of planning the Ball in this way. Your input and creativity will be most appreciated.
Invitations will be in the mail soon. Or you may visit the Guild’s website at operaguildofdayton.org to pay online. Costs are $175 for patrons, $225 for silver patrons and $250 for gold patrons. For questions, please call Lois Sutherland at 937/433-2933 or email her at email@example.com.
Gather your friends and make up a full table. It is sure to be an evening that you won’t forget.
