“Mirror - Reflecting on” is an extraordinary event showcasing the mesmerizing Indian classical dance – Kathak. This performance celebrates the school’s 20-year journey and will highlight this rich art form of India. Kathak is derived from “katha” meaning the art of storytelling. The rich rhythmic and vibrant combination of footwork, spins and expressive gestures form the basis of this story telling.
Rossana Bandyopadhyay the founder and artistic director of Kathanauki School of Dance brings “Mirror – Reflecting On” along with a team of over 70 passionate and highly trained dancers.
