Miami Valley Sports Festival
The Miami Valley Sports Festival, September, 13-15th, 2019, brings together multiple sports and people to celebrate Sport, Fitness, Health and Wellness in the Miami Valley. The Sports represented include Crossfit, Taekwondo, Boxing, Wrestling, Power Lifting, Judo, PowerX, Jiu Jitsu, Rock Steady Boxing for Parkinsons, Strong Man, Submission Grappling/BJJ, Kung Fu, Karate, Double Deadlift, Arm Wrestling, 5K, Darts and much more. The Festival draws local and competitors from several states.
This years Festival will be kicked off Friday evening with an Exhibition Boxing event with a full fight card with part of the proceeds benefiting The National Rock Steady Boxing for Parkinson’s Disease. On Saturday evening the Festival will host a Pro Wrestling event. The Pink Ribbon Girls and Zombie Dogz will be present.
Tournaments, meets, demonstrations, clinics, and camps occur both inside and outside the 43,000 square feet facility. The MVSF is conveniently located near downtown Dayton at the new Montgomery County Events Center located at the new Fairgrounds complex. This event will draw from Middletown to Piqua, Ohio. There will be thousands of athletes participating in events and their families along with visitors to the festival from throughout the community.
This year’s festival will include Health, Wellness, and Fitness seminars and presentations. Our guests range from families with young children, middle and high school athletes, seasoned competitive lifters for our strength events and CrossFit competitors. Some of our Seminars will be presented by medical professionals on use of Boxing as a treatment for Parkinson’s disease and ACL Injury Prevention and new Concussion Protocols in Sports and Sports Nutrition.
Our festival has something for everyone from fun activities for kids, observing Sports tournaments and meets, Martial Arts Demonstrations for Judo, Jiu Jitsu, a Wrestling tournament Several of our events are Qualifiers for the Arnold Classic and sanctioned events to qualify for state and national events.
There are over 50 Vendors Spaces located inside and outside the facility. There will be fitness and sports equipment, apparel, supplements, health and wellness booths, and much more.
