Gem City VS Naptown

Gem City Roller Derby challenges the Indianapolis-based Naptown Roller Derby league on November 12th at Dayton South Metro Sportsplex!

 

Our first game of the season where all eyes are on our Violet Femmes vs Naptown's Warning Belles. Doors open to the public at 5:30 PM. First whistle is at 6 PM.

Roller derby is a fast-paced, hard-hitting, and in-your-face game that is unique in that it is one of few contact sports dominated by women.  As of February 2020 when rankings were last posted, GCRD was ranked 61st out of over 360 member leagues in the international Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) and 19th out of 159 leagues in the North America East region. 

 

Purchasing presale is highly recommended! Presale ticket check-in is the fastest, least contact method of entry to the event. If we have not reached capacity, tickets may also be purchased at the door.

The venue is NOT open to the public prior to 5:30pm. League members, visiting skaters and staff only permitted inside at 5pm.

 

All able attendees are still encouraged to wear fitted masks to reduce the risk of spreading illnesses to other guests, staff, and athletes. Be mindful of the cold, flu and other common illnesses.
