FilmDayton Student Film Festival

By encouraging students to explore the art of storytelling, these young adults are giving us a lens into their generation and how they see the world,” shares FilmDayton Board President Curtis Bowman. Students also learn the art of collaboration, time management skills and the art of sharing their message in a visual medium.
The three major objectives of this event are to encourage students to explore the art of storytelling, recognize creative achievement in film/video production and to foster an exchange of ideas between students with different backgrounds and points of view.
Local high school or home schooled students (within 75 miles of Dayton) are encouraged to submit their film, which can be up to five minutes long, in one of the following categories: Animation, Comedy, Documentary, Drama, Music Video or PSA.
Join us this Sunday, May 15th at 1pm to view the top submissions from our area's young filmmakers.
