Playing It Forward! Instrument Collection

Calling on local musicians to help “play it forward”

Do you have a musical instrument lurking in a closet somewhere in your home, taking up valuable space?  Wouldn’t it be great to donate this instrument so a child who cannot afford to purchase an instrument could be given the joy of making music?

Dayton Philharmonic Volunteer Association

The Dayton Philharmonic Volunteer Association are collecting your used instruments. The repurposed instruments will be distributed to deserving students at Stivers and the Q the Music program at Ruskin Elementary.  Your gift will give these children the opportunity to shine musically and improve academically. Plus donated instruments are tax deductible!

For instrument donations, please drop off your instruments at the 2nd Street Market on November 26, December 3 and December 10, 2016 between 9am and 2pm, and we will see that it is placed in the hands of a deserving young future musician!
