World Refugee Day Film Screening and Panel Discussion

In June, the world commemorates the strength, courage, and resilience of millions of refugees who have been forced to flee their homes to escape war or human rights abuses.  Join us Thursday, June 21st from 6-7:30 PM in the Eichelberger Forum for a screening of the documentary “Lost Boys of Sudan.” (Shown with permission of PBS)

Directly following the screening (7:30-8:15 PM) will be a question and answer period with a representative of Catholic Social Services of the Miami Valley Refugee Resettlement Program.  Several refugees will also be available to answer questions about their experiences of coming to Dayton.

The film will be replayed on Saturday, June 23rd from 12-2 PM, without the question and answer period, for those unable to attend Thursday, June 21st.
