Clean up Green Up in Miamisburg
Join Miamisburg and “Save the Earth” by doing some spring cleaning and donating personal and household items to reduce, reuse and recycle. Miamisburg Parks and Recreation is providing a convenient location to drop off your gently used items to be reused by local organizations. Stop by Community Park, located at 550 S. First St. between 9 and noon on Saturday, April 23 for a drive thru service in the parking lot. The Humane Society of Greater Dayton will be accepting gently used pet cages, pet carriers, towels and blankets. Clothing and small appliances will be accepted. The Lions Club will collect gently used eyeglasses, hearing aids and recyclable plastic bags. Hannah’s Treasure Chest will collect baby, children and maternity items. Old batteries will also be collected.
Drive through and drop off, volunteers and staff will be in the park ready to assist you. Please have all items pre-sorted for each vendor if possible.
