The City of Centerville’s annual Memorial Day ceremony at the Veterans Memorial in Stubbs Park, 255 W. Spring Valley Road.
In commemoration of Memorial Day, the city of Centerville is remembering those who have died in service to our country with a ceremony saluting the men and women who have helped protect, preserve and maintain our freedom.
The City of Centerville’s annual Memorial Day ceremony is 9 a.m., Monday, May 29 at the Veterans Memorial in Stubbs Park, 255 W. Spring Valley Road. In case of rain, the event will move to the Centerville Police Department, 155 W. Spring Valley Road. The program includes a performance by the Centerville Community Band along with Centerville VFW Post 9550 Color Guard and Centerville Police Department honor guard. Mayor Brooks Compton will give opening remarks, and the keynote address will be given by Col. Bradley McDonald, 88th Air Base Wing and Installation Commander at Wright-Patterson AFB.
