The 16th Annual British Car Meet is being held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday May 21 in front of the British Transportation Museum, 321 Hopeland St., Dayton. Up to 100 cars will be judged for awards. Spectators are welcome and free admission.
“Owners of the cars that are entered in the show will be asked to vote on their favorite entries” said Pete Stroble, museum president. “This means that spectators get to see which cars are most prizeworthy when awards are announced after the votes are tallied.”
Among activities planned for the day will be dog scent trials, where spectators can watch a judge observe trained dogs practice finding hides or particular scents in a trial-like environment. It is estimated that 20 to 30 dogs will participate.
There will also be a food truck at the rain or shine event.
For more information or to register a car, contact Tim Bosse at 937-974-4076 or Pete Stroble at 937-546-0039 or email the museum at btmpres@gmail.com.
