In partnership with the Centerville-Washington Park District and Centerville-Washington History, the Library co-hosts a book discussion on historical and/or nature-related topics. Some attendees choose to bring a brown bag lunch. Dessert is provided. No registration is required.

Join us for a discussion of Lab Girl (2016-Biography) by Hope Jahren. Average rating 4.02/5 (41,257 ratings) on Goodreads, 290 pages. An memoir by an award-winning paleobiologist traces her childhood in her father's laboratory, her longtime relationship with a brilliant but wounded colleague and the remarkable discoveries they have made both in the lab and during extensive field research assignments.

Copies of the book will be distributed at the January discussion and, thereafter, limited copies will be available at the front desk at Woodbourne Library.
