The ARTery Gallery Black and White Members Show
The ARTery Gallery at Front Street invites you to come see our current hallway show entitled “BLACK AND WHITE” on display through April. Come meet Robert Farley an incredible digital photographer in our gallery who is our featured artist this month, as well as our NEW ARTery member, Carolyn Jordan, a very talented contemporary acrylic painter. The ARTery Gallery currently has 17 artists and artisans, and hosts a variety of work from Jewelry and Ceramics to Textile art, Printmaking, Sculpture, Painting, Photography, and Digital Art. The ARTery Gallery is located in the Front Street Bldg, Door B-C, 3rd Floor.
Robert Farley is an incredible photographer at the ARTery who enjoys capturing beautiful moments in Nature from sunsets and landscapes to waterfalls and a variety of birds. He loves photographing local landmarks like our old bridges in Ohio, as well as scenes in our local state parks and beyond. He also has an eye for spotting unique and interesting subjects discovered within old, abandoned equipment and machinery. Pictured is a striking photo of a “Night Heron” he took while visiting the Everglades in Florida. Robert especially enjoys taking local scenic photographs from viewpoints that are almost impossible to get to so the viewer can see even familiar sights from a fresh and new perspective.
Events for the month of April:
*1st Friday, April 2nd, the ARTery Gallery will be open from 5-9 pm. Come join in the fun with an evening rich in art, entertainment, and community. There will be lots of studios open including the ARTery Gallery, live music, and dinner available via local food trucks in the parking lot.
*2nd Look Saturday, April 3rd, the ARTery Gallery will be open from 11am to 4pm, and Front Street, The Orphanage, and The Visionary Folk Art Gallery are hosting the 2nd Annual Folk Art Street Fair. Ces’t Cheese will be serving lunch from 12pm-2pm and Berachah Valley will be providing live music in the Front Street parking lot.
3rd Sunday, There will be lots of studios open including the ARTery Gallery from 11am-4pm. Front Street has an exciting line up for the afternoon outside in the parking lot including live music from the Ludlow Band, The Rolling Oasis, Live Art Demos, Free Spin Art T-Shirts, Various Ohio vendors, and even a Free Self-Serve Dog Bath!
