For this month, we will explore recycling! I will have socks for everyone to use, we will create these super adorable stuffed animal kitties! Using both the sewing machine and hand embroidery techniques the kids create their very own kitten! 3 hours of building our sewing skills!

Prerequisites: None

Ages: 9+

What you will learn:  Seam allowance

Pattern Marking

Basic Hand Embroidery Stitches

Stuffing and Closing

Straight Stitch

Pinning

Backstitching

Flip and turn

Finishing techniques

Supplies included: All materials to do the project

Parking on Grange Hall; Park in Decoy/Knickerbocker Lot Follow either sidewalk on the side of building to the studio door that faces Dayton-Xenia.
