Kids Create : Tee Shirt Critters! Design, Stuff, and Sew

Kids will get to have fun in this 2.5-hour class! Learning to design, create and stitch together a little tee-shirt critter. This will be a great intro to stitching for most! We will use tee shirt scraps to create the eyes, nose, mouth and accessories for their creations. This class will use imagination and we will talk about recycling and reuse things around the house to make it into a new creation! Hopefully inspiring them to make more for gifts and family members!

Prerequisites: None

Finishing techniques

Fantastic way to let your child's imagination grow and flourish, they will want to make them for everyone!

Ages: 8 and up

Max Students: 6

Bring: 

2-3 tee shirts of different colors (can have designs on the front)

Supplies included:
Polyfil
Notions (buttons/trims) for decorating
Supplies to design our critter
Thread
Basic sewing kit
Machine

• Please do not bring your machine to this class I will have them all ready to use for the class.

Parking on Grange Hall; Park in Decoy/Knickerbocker Lot
Follow either sidewalk on the side of building to the studio door that faces Dayton-Xenia.
