Yellow Springs Street Fair will return this Fall
The popular Yellow Springs Street Fair has been canceled for June 2022. The biannual event has now been called off four consecutive times due to the pandemic, however, organizers have indicated the fair will finally return in the Fall.
An official statement posted by the Yellow Springs Chamber of Commerce follows:
COVID has been a driving force in our lives and the economy for the past two years. The Yellow Springs Chamber knows that part of the longing to get back to ‘normal’ is getting back to the routines and events that made us smile before this hit. We have missed four Street Fairs, and we have heard from Villagers, visitors, vendors, businesses, and bands about missing this cherished event.
Sadly, we do not think we can do anyone justice by trying to hold a Spring Street Fair in 2022. We are committed to bringing Street Fair back in the Fall; we are partnering with local groups on producing events that will appeal to Villagers and visitors alike, while providing opportunities for businesses, music, and general merriment in the Village in 2022.
