St. Helen Spring Festival canceled for second year

The St. Helen Spring festival in Riverside has been canceled for the second year in a row, amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

St. Helen Spring Festival canceled for second year

St. Helen Spring Festival, the popular festival in Riverside which had been planned for June 11-13, has been canceled for 2021.  This will the second year the festival has been canceled, due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

"It is with deep regrets that we announce that we will not have the St Helen Festival again this year," the festival wrote on its website. "It has become abundantly clear that due to the size of our festival and the number of people it attracts, there is no viable solution to ensure the health and safety of our community patrons and volunteers."

The festival said they are finalizing plans for a drive-through pickup dinner featuring some of our favorite festival food, with more details to be announced in the coming weeks. The festival hopes to return next year.

"We thank you for your understanding, patience and support," the festival said. "We look forward to next year!"
