Golf centers to remain closed as a precautionary measure
As a precautionary measure during the COVID-19 emergency, the City of Dayton will keep its golf centers (Madden, Community and Kittyhawk) closed through April 30.

On March 30, the Ohio Department of Health clarified its order to allow golf courses to operate as an outdoor recreation activity, as long as specific social distancing and disinfecting procedures are followed.

With limited staffing, social distancing guidelines cannot be sufficiently monitored. Also, disinfecting cleaners are being prioritized for other, front-line City operations.

The Division of Golf is making efforts to implement new procedures and will continue to evaluate operations as resources become available.
