Beethoven Piano Concerto
Two true masterworks of the classical period are Mozart’s Symphony No. 40 and Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 5 (Emperor). Each year they are among the most performed works by American orchestras. We are delighted that pianist Eric Street will perform the Emperor Concerto with the orchestra. Eric has won acclaim on six continents, with performances in thirty-five countries. His concerts have been telecast in the US, Asia, Middle East and Europe, including a broadcast across Russia over the Kultur network from the American Embassy in Moscow. Eric is Professor of Music and coordinates keyboard studies at the University of Dayton.
