Fridays on Prouty Concert- Nikki D and the Sisters of Thunder
Award winning Nikki D and the Sisters of Thunder will take the stage on July 13 at 7:30 pm for the downtown Fridays on Prouty concert series. They have a hard-driving rock-influenced gospel-based sound that will drive us home without asking any questions. A supreme highlight of the show is the surprising abandon of the great Nikki D’s steel guitar. The sisters have promised us “You Make Me Want to Shout”, “Change Gonna Come” and “Still the One”, but do not come with any preconceived ideas for what these Sisters of Thunder will accomplish on stage. Just know that you will be lifted to their level, on this summer night, in Troy, Ohio. Presented by Troy-Hayner Cultural Center
