The All-American Summer events series will be a summer-long tribute to 29,000 active duty military and civilian employees at neighboring Wright Patterson Air Force Base.
The Mall at Fairfield Commons is pleased to announce the upcoming All-American Summer events series, a summer-long tribute to 29,000 active duty military and civilian employees at neighboring Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Throughout the property, military families will be honored through Hero Parking and Purple Heart designated parking spaces, welcoming door decals, decorative American flags and discounts at more than 60 stores for those who serve.
On July 6 from 6 – 10 p.m. outside of the main entrance, The Mall at Fairfield Commons will celebrate its third annual Red, White and Brew event with live entertainment, family-friendly activities, food trucks and fireworks. To further honor those in the military, all proceeds from the beer garden and t-shirts will be donated to the Fisher Nightingale Houses in Dayton.
“At The Mall at Fairfield Commons, we firmly support military families and their brave efforts in keeping America safe,” said Leanne Rubosky, General Manager at The Mall at Fairfield Commons. “We truly recognize the sacrifice these individuals in our community make, and we are proud to honor them not only during All-American Summer, but year-round.”
During All-American Summer, community members will have the opportunity to learn how they can give back to those serving in the military and their families, and The Mall at Fairfield Commons will hold a Stuff the Bus donation drive from July 21 – August 4. Guests are encouraged to donate school supplies and resources to local military families in need. The Mall at Fairfield Commons has partnered with the USO to host an event to distribute these school supplies.
All-American Summer demonstrates The Mall at Fairfield Commons’ commitment to providing Beavercreek residents with meaningful experiences that transform the property from a traditional shopping destination into an all-American center.
